Identity Federation for AWS Compatibility Notes

Non-clustered usage via local home directory

The bundled Identity Federation for AWS app stores private secret keys used for encrypting long-term AWS security credentials in the local home directory. This works fine for non-clustered (single node) usage, and clustered usage is still possible by manually performing the few steps required to migrate the keys to the new Bamboo Data Center shared home directory. which happens automatically during an upgrade to the most recent minor releases, refer to https://utoolity.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IFAWS/pages/2911633589/Identity+Federation+for+AWS+2.15+Upgrade+Notes#Upgrade-task-for-Bamboo-home-migration for details.

Clustered usage via shared home directory

To address the sole encountered architectural incompatibility, the most recent minor releases migrate private secret keys used for encrypting long-term AWS security credentials from the local home directory to the new Bamboo Data Center shared home directory by means of an upgrade task implemented within the bundled Identity Federation for AWS, refer to https://utoolity.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IFAWS/pages/2911633589/Identity+Federation+for+AWS+2.15+Upgrade+Notes#Upgrade-task-for-Bamboo-home-migration for details.
