How to disable Identity Federation for AWS when using Tasks for AWS (Bamboo)

You are using Tasks for AWS (Bamboo) but do not want to use any features provided by the included Identity Federation for AWS (Bamboo).

Disabling of Identity Federation for AWS is not recommended

Note that while it is still possible to use Tasks for AWS (Bamboo) without Identity Federation for AWS (Bamboo), disabling Identity Federation for AWS is likely not what you want and could impact other Utoolity apps you might be using - please consider disabling specific features instead, as referenced in the info panel below.

Step-by-step guide

As an administrator, perform these steps in the product's administration section:

  1. go to "Manage apps"

  2. locate and expand the "Identity Federation for AWS" app entry in the app list

  3. click the app's "Disable" button

Please do not uninstall the app, because it will be automatically reinstalled by Tasks for AWS during its next update for technical reasons - updating Tasks for AWS will not change the disabled state though
