What is Utoolity's support policy for Atlassian Data Center?
Over the next 3 years Atlassian will wind down Data Center support in favor of Atlassian Cloud beginning on March 30, 2026, refer to https://www.atlassian.com/migration for details. What does this mean for Utoolity customers?
Rest assured that we'll continue to support and update all Data Center apps as long as you will be using them.
This also includes extended maintenance beyond the formal EOL date March 28, 2029, granted by Atlassian on a case by case base – refer to Atlassian’s FAQ Is there a way to extend maintenance beyond the end of life deadline? Will there be exceptions? for details.
Note that Bitbucket Data Center will not end of life and continue to be available via a hybrid license, so if you are using Bitbucket with Bamboo this scenario makes a great case when asking for extended maintenance – refer to Atlassian’s FAQ Which products are included in end of life? for details.
In case you have not yet migrated from a Server to a Data Center license, you will only be able to purchase a new Data Center subscription until March 30, 2026.
This does not apply to existing Data Center customers, who can purchase new Data Center subscriptions, Marketplace apps, and subscription expansions until March 30, 2028 – refer to Atlassian’s FAQ What does end of life mean? for details.
