Configuring an AWS Access Key

In order to create AWS connectors, you need to add at least one AWS Access Key, which provides the required long-term AWS security credentials used to derive temporary AWS security credentials for your Atlassian users – refer to Create individual IAM users for details.

 

Provisioning AWS Resources

Use the provided CloudFormation Templates to provision appropriate IAM resources.

Configuration

To configure an AWS Access Key:

  1. Navigate to the Identity Federation for AWS configuration.

  2. Click Edit for an existing AWS Connector, or click Create connector to create a new one.

  3. Click Edit for an existing AWS Access Key, or click Add access key to create a new one.

Complete the following settings:

Partition

(Labs feature) Select the partition the Access Key belongs to.

This setting is hidden until any non standard AWS partition has been enabled.

Key Alias

Specify an alias to identify this Access Key.

Access Key ID

Provide the Access Key ID of your long-term AWS Security Credentials.

Secret Access Key

Provide the Secret Access Key of your long term AWS Security Credentials.
