Which AWS partitions are currently supported by Utoolity apps?
Utoolity apps for Atlassian’s Cloud deployment option (Software as a service) are built on Atlassian’s Forge platform, and Utoolity apps for Atlassian’s Server & Data Center deployment options (Self-managed) are built on Atlassian’s Server platform. As a EU-based company, Utoolity does not have access to the AWS China and AWS GovCloud (US) regions, which yields limitations depending on the deployment option:
Atlassian Cloud (Software as a service) – we cannot currently support the non-standard partitions AWS-CN (China) and aws-us-gov (United States) – this s indicated via the red lozenge in the table below
Atlassian Server & Data Center (Self-managed)– we can support but not currently test the non-standard partitions AWS-CN (China) and aws-us-gov (United States) – this s indicated via the blue lozenge in the table below
This means that the API is compatible in general and our apps should just work accordingly – please get in touch if things do not work as intended, we are very interested to collaborate on necessary adjustments
Atlassian deployment option | Atlassian development platform | Supported AWS partitions | Affected AWS regions |
---|---|---|---|
Atlassian Cloud | AWS | ALL AWS regions | |
Atlassian Server & Data Center | AWS | ALL AWS regions |
